Hassle-Free Delivery, Fully Assembled

Summit Structures is proud to offer a free delivery area within a 30-mile radius of our sales centers across Oregon. Your building arrives fully assembled, delivered by skilled personnel who handle numerous deliveries every day with trucks and trailers built specifically for shed transport.

When the site is tight, our team uses specialized equipment like a “shed mule” to maneuver the building directly to the desired location — a versatile machine designed to navigate narrow spaces and handle the weight of the shed.

How to Prep Your Site

• Clear the location of debris, rocks, branches, and any other obstructions.
• Mow the area so your unit doesn't settle on tall grass.
• Provide clear access for the delivery truck and personnel to the site.
• Allow an extra 4′ of width clearance and 4′ of height clearance for the fully assembled building.
• For 14′ and 16′-wide structures, we recommend a level gravel or concrete pad to reduce settling.

Leveling & Foundation Options

On arrival, the driver levels the building on your ground using pressure-treated wood blocks and shims. For added stability, we recommend customer-provided concrete blocks to level the shed up to 12 inches from the ground; additional layers are available at an added cost.

Summit Structures does not set buildings on raised platforms or piers — a clear and level area is all that's required. Blocking and settling are not covered under warranty.

Responsibilities & Ground Conditions

If the ground is soft or wet, delivery is not advised; we reserve the right to reschedule when conditions aren't adequate for a safe, non-destructive delivery.

Please identify and locate any underground water or sewer lines beforehand — the customer bears responsibility for any damage to the yard, driveway, or other property.

Be mindful of septic tanks, low wires, and branches, and make sure fence gates offer enough clearance to move the building through. Our drivers are not authorized to remove fencing, so any fencing or posts should be removed before delivery.

Permits, HOA & Consent

It's your responsibility to know and obtain any necessary permits and meet any Homeowners' Association (HOA) requirements before delivery. Engineered drawings and anchors can be purchased for a small fee if required for permitting.

If you're a renter or plan to place the building on someone else's property, we'll need a property owner's consent form. If delivery requires access across a neighbor's property, we'll need that neighbor's written consent.
