Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about ordering, payments, delivery, and how we build. Still stuck? Our team is a call away.

Ordering & Lead Times

We build a lot of built-to-order sheds so you get the customization you need, and our standard lead times are usually 3–5 weeks. We also keep display sheds available with a 7–10 business-day lead time, plus a few select units sitting at the factories we can deliver in 3–5 business days.

Yes. Access is a thing of the past with our onsite build option — we can build the shed right in your backyard, so you don't have to take down a fence or find someone you trust to remove it. Lead time is typically 3–5 weeks depending on the weather, and all we ask is 3′ of perimeter clearance so we can install and paint the shed.

Each city's and HOA's restrictions vary, so our best advice is to reach out to your HOA or local city and check on their requirements. Our team of shed experts can help you pull together drawings, 3D renderings, and other documents needed for approval, making the permitting or HOA process easier and quicker.

Payments & Financing

Yes. Summit Structures offers multiple payment options, including a “No Credit Check” Rent-to-Own program and several traditional bank financing options. Payments vary by term length, interest rate, and the price of the building, with financing rates starting as low as 7.99%.

Through our partner AFG, Rent-to-Own requires no credit check and almost everyone qualifies. Terms run 24, 36, 48, or 60 months, every payment goes toward owning the building, and because it's a month-to-month rental you can cancel anytime by calling for pickup. Pay off early and you'll even receive an Early Pay Off discount. See full Rent-to-Own details ›

Delivery & Setup

Yes. We take pride in offering Free Delivery within a 30-mile radius of our sales centers across Oregon. All we need is the ability to access your location with the fully assembled unit and a level spot to set it — ask your location about pricing beyond that range.

Clear the desired location of debris, rocks, branches, and other obstructions, and mow so the unit doesn't settle on tall grass. Because our buildings arrive fully assembled, provide clear access for the truck and trailer to a reasonably level spot. For 14′ and 16′-wide buildings we recommend a level gravel or concrete pad. Quality & Materials

Our main focus is providing exceptional shed solutions, so we don't offer site preparation or concrete work ourselves. That said, we're committed to great service throughout the process — reach out and we're happy to share our pad contractor recommendations and answer any questions about your building or installation.

No — it's engineered wood, not particle board, that pairs the timeless look of real wood with far greater durability. LP SmartSide resists the cupping and warping that plague traditional wood, and through the exclusive SmartGuard® process every product is treated to resist fungal decay and termites, backed by an industry-leading warranty.

We offer the personalized service of a “small company” with the unwavering warranty of a “large company.” We're a local company that believes in quality and exceptional customer service, and rather than setting up temporary dealerships, we're building our brand one town at a time — big enough to meet your needs, yet small enough to genuinely care.
